I hope you are all well – it was lovely to see some parents and pupils last week. Now that we are able to get out and about more, it is most important that we remind our ‘little ones’ of the importance of washing hands, coughing/sneezing into our elbows and the need for social distance when we are in the company of those we do not live with. As parents, we must continue to remind our children of the importance of doing all of these things.
As we near the end of this very ‘strange’ school year, all of us Parents are feeling tired and possibly a little worried about what lies ahead for the next few months. Rest assured, that Ms Grimes will be in touch as soon as we know what is happening about returning to school after the summer holidays. Please remember that all children are in the same boat and that all of the teachers will look after your child with much care and attention when schools open again. Everyone in St. Edward’s NS will continue to do their very best for each pupil and family. We are all in this together!
Please ring me on the HSCL phone (086)7769756 if you have any questions at all or would like a chat about anything. I am always here to listen and to support you in any way that I can. I love to hear from you all and to know that you are keeping well.
I hope you all enjoyed Sports Week (I certainly did!!!) – you have until Tuesday 1pm to e mail your pictures/videos to Class Teacher or send them to St Edward’s NS Facebook Page through Messenger.
Remember that all pupils who send in a video/ picture of themselves taking part in some activity will be entered into the draw for some fabulous prizes.
