The Movie Makers, one of our SEASA (St Edward’s After School Activities) clubs, made this short movie using the iMovie app on an iPad. They had to choose which clips to use, edit them and add some voice overs. They then chose some theme music for the background and added titles and credits. They are very proud of their work, and hope you enjoy it!

Farm animals came to our school during Science Week.
There was a guinea pig called Chewbacca and a goat called Yoda. There were chickens, roosters and rabbits. We were able to hold all the animals and feed the goat.
It was great fun!
Junior Infants had a really great time preparing our maths project and science experiment for St. Edward’s Maths and Science Afternoon. We also really enjoyed visiting the fair and would like to say thank you to all the other classes for sharing their maths and science projects with us, we learned a lot in one afternoon. We hope all our parents enjoyed their visit as well.
In our after school club, we created a news report about the Abbott Family Fun night which was run during Science Week in November. We hope you enjoy it.

Last Wednesday, the children of St Edwards NS invited their parents to see the wonderful variety of experiments and investigations they have been doing in their classes this year.
Thank you to all the parents who came into our science display.
The theme of Science Week 2013 is ‘Exploring the XTRA-Ordinary’. Everyone is being encouraged to explore the wonderful world of science, technology, engineering and maths all around them.
