As part of our Heritage Keepers project this year we had the amazing opportunity to visit Sligo Woodland School for a day where we got to learn all about tress, nature and how and why it is important for us to protect it for future generations. We learned how to plant trees, chop wood, make sustainable toys and crafts from wood. We also got the opportunity to build our own shelters from wood, make skewers for roasting marshmallows and had lots of fun relaxing in hammocks and playing on the wooden swings. Thank you so much to Trisha and team for facilitating such an amazing day.
