Music Generation in Senior Infants

Music Generation is a music initiative co-founded originally by U2, local music education partnerships and the Department of Education and Skills. With the help of Sligo Education Centre, talented local musician Anna Houston is visiting our classroom each week for 10 weeks to help us to  learn about rhythm, different types of musical instruments and composing and performing and of course a little singing as well! We have already tried out a ukelele and a cello, as well as loads of percussion instruments. We are having great fun!

Gremlins on Our School Blog!

Unfortunately there have been a few gremlins getting up to no good on our blog and they have stolen all our September posts! Scoilnet have chased them all out and they have promised that they won’t be back! Unfortunately they haven’t been able to find the missing bits, but we are looking forward to adding some news and pictures again from this week on!
